Lenity Engineering

ENGINEERING OVERVIEW

With over 30 years experience, Lenity’s engineering department has successfully designed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems for a variety of different project types, including healthcare, higher education, critical operations, governmental organizations, schools, non-profit, commercial and business clients alike.
Our team delivers a wide range of technical services in the fields of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and lighting design. Working in tandem with internal and external architects, developers, contractors, and consultants, we provide a seamless transition from schematic design to project completion. During construction, Lenity Engineering performs site visits to help ensure the proper execution of all engineering plans. Additionally, Lenity Engineering offers the creation of plans for design-build contractors, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, and/or owners requiring plans and specifications for bidding, construction, code enforcement review, and permitting.

MECHANICAL + PLUMBING ENGINEERING

Our mechanical designers and engineers design systems to ensure energy use, maintainability, comfort, controllability, and integration into any architectural design to meet all code and client requirements. We are experienced in various mechanical systems, including Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), Packaged Rooftop Units (RTUs), Package Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC), Ductless Split Systems, and Energy Recovery Ventilation.

Indoor environment air quality and comfort are important parts of any occupied space. We design systems to provide levels of comfort within the owner’s budget and expectations. Dedicated in providing high performance buildings, we analyze the thermal envelope and natural lighting to lower energy requirements, while selecting efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective systems. Thermal modeling software allows our designers to evaluate system performance to ensure recommended heating and cooling requirements are met.

For building plumbing systems, we design waste, domestic cold and hot water systems, condensate, combustion gas and other fluid piping systems.
